‘Breaking Bad’ notes: Aaron Paul to ‘Mythbusters,’ RJ Mitte to ‘Vegas’
Even though “Breaking Bad” is tragically not going to be back on AMC again for another eight or so months, there is strangely still a nice stream of news coming out today all about what some of our favorite actors from the world of Walter White are doing on some other shows.
We’ll start with Aaron Paul, mostly because what he showrunner Vince Gilligan are doing is actually the most similar to the show itself. According to Entertainment Weekly, the two parties are going to be taking part in a special edition of Discovery’s “Mythbusters” that is filming this week in San Francisco, and they will look at in particular a pair of the biggest myths that happened during the show’s early years.
Here is what one of the “Mythbusters” himself in Adam Savage had to say about getting Paul and Gilligan on board:
“We’ve been wanting to do a Breaking Bad episode for awhile … Obviously there’s a lot of fertile material to play with, so things that happen on the show have been ending up on our list of stories to tackle for a couple years now. And when Vince said in an interview that he’d love to see a Mythbusters/Breaking Bad crossover, we reached out to him directly and the response was overwhelming positive.”
Sadly, nobody is going to be taking on the crazy magnet trick from season 5 this time, though there is potential here to do a sequel if it turns out to be rather popular (and we are pretty sure that it will).
As for some other news, The Hollywood Reporter claims that RJ Mitte, otherwise known as Walter Jr., is going to be featured in an upcoming episode of the CBS drama “Vegas” as Russ, the younger brother of the criminal Nathan. This is the second casting involving “Breaking Bad” and this show this fall, as Jonathan Banks has already scored a multi-episode arc as a crime boss.

I AM IN LOVE WITH JESSE PINKMAN.
His young, yet street smart and innocence, is so highly attractive!! He is the only character with a “heart”, he is the “old soul” typr of kid, and feels sorrow.
Not that I have over-looked that he is actually a drug dealer, and no good is usually involved when it comes to that! BUT, seeing as this is a SHOW, Ill let it flow…. he is so emotionally GORGEOUS!!!.
The only character with out any stability of a family, and he see’s, in a sick way, the difference between good, bad and EVIL!!! Not to mention he is just the cutest to what i see as a hardcore street smart young kid that has it all……compared to his adult counter parts. I think and hope that in the end….. he ends up with the EMPIRE!!! The EMPIRE of a stable woman, family and all the happiness of the “white picket fence” life!!
Jesse Pinkman has the traits of a little bit of everyone in the audience……..and a simple kid at heart!
