Black Lightning season 3 episode 10 return date for Cress Williams, cast
The obvious bad news at the moment is that there’s no new episode next week, though you technically will see Black Lightning before too long! Cress Williams is going to be featuring prominently on Tuesday night’s part 3 of the Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover, which will be the last before it embarks on a hiatus of its own. It remains to be said whether the Black Lightning character ends up having another episode or two in the crossover at some point after that … but it feels like there’s a reasonably good chance.
As for when Black Lightning itself is going to be coming back, many listings claim that it will be back on January 20. That’s a long wait, but compared to some other shows that are out there, is it really all that bad? It’s tolerable. It’s just going to be worse potentially depending on the severity of the cliffhanger tonight, which could be fairly brutal depending on what the writers decide to bring to the table. We know, after all, that they’ve got a tendency to shock and leave people’s jaws hanging on the floor!
The one thing that we are especially curious about at the moment is how this Crisis crossover impacts a guy like Jefferson, who recognizes now that there is a much larger world of super-friends out there for him. Will that change how he operates? We’re not sure, mostly because he’s already been doing this for so long. While it could give Black Lightning more comfort that ther eare some other heroes out there, he also probably knows that these people aren’t going to be able to help him if things go south for him and his family. They’ll have to find another way to push through.
For now, we’re just thinking of the crossover as fun — Black Lightning will probably still exist, for the most part, separate from everything else.
