‘Teen Mom 3’: Mackenzie Douthit, Alex Sekella, Briana DeJesus part of cast

Even though “Teen Mom” has officially come to a close, MTV is moving forward now with the next installment of the franchise in “Teen Mom 3.” With this very thing in mind, we now have some more official news about the four young women who are going to be featured front and center on this series.

Mackenzie Douthit – She is a 16-year old cheerleader whose boyfriend in Josh McGee has a little bit of a temper. Another surprise in here is that her mother does not believe in birth control, mostly because she feels that it will make her more likely to want to have premarital sex. Wait a minute … isn’t there something wrong with this picture?

Alex Sekella – Sadly, this is the case of something that we hear far too much about: a young woman who ends up falling in with the wrong crowd, or at least in this case her boyfriend Matt McCann. He was not present for much of the pregnancy or the birth, but she is still reportedly with him.

Briana DeJesus – Briana originally had an interesting story on “16 and Pregnant” when her sister Brittany decided to abort her child, and she gave birth to her own. As for the father of her child, Devoin Austin, he has not really been remotely supportive at all.

Katie Yeager – In some ways, this seems to be the responsible story of the group as we have a young woman who really is trying to make her life as a young mom work, and she even has a supportive father in her life for her child. The issue here is that the couple is not even remotely in a good shape financially.
