The Conners season 2 episode 9 return date: The Christmas fall finale!

If you’ve got an inkling to check out some holiday-themed excitement today, The Conners season 2 episode 9 is there for you. Unfortunately, you will be waiting a while to see it. Just how long? Think in terms of Tuesday, December 10. We’ve got yet another hiatus coming, but at least this one is fairly short. (The harder one to get through will be after the Christmas episode, given that we’re then left waiting until the new year.)

So what will be coming up for Christmas this time around? Once again, you are going to see a story about family, but this one will be a little bit outside of your typical realm. For Dan, he has to deal with some depressing news around his birthday. Meanwhile, Dan’s also going to try and get Louise to fit in more with the family. (We understand that not everyone may be so eager to accept Katey Sagal’s character into this world, but we’re pretty darn thrilled that a performer of her caliber is appearing on the show this much.)

“Smoking Penguins and Santa on Santa Action” – Dan is disappointed when everyone but Becky forgets about his birthday. Meanwhile, Darlene and Ben face an issue at work, and Dan takes advantage of the family Christmas Santa photo to force Jackie to befriend Louise on the fall finale of “The Conners,” TUESDAY, DEC. 10 (8:00-8:30 p.m. EST), on ABC. Episodes can also be viewed the next day on ABC.com, the ABC app and Hulu.

While there could be some darker moments to come throughout this upcoming episode, we still imagine that ABC and the show’s producers want there to be some comedy in here. How can there not be? This is the sort of Christmas episode that viewers could watch time and time again after the fact; we hope that is considered somewhere along the way.
