Madam Secretary season 6 episode 9 spoilers: The last before finale

Madam Secretary season 6 episode 9 is going to be airing on CBS December 1, and it’s got a lot that it will be hoping to achieve. After all, we’re only two episodes away now from the end! We definitely don’t want to see the Tea Leoni series come to a close, but we can’t change a narrative that has already been laid out. The series already filmed its series finale and with that in mind, we just have to prepare ourselves.

For one Elizabeth McCord, she’s also in a position now where she’s gotta prepare for the worst. Think about it like this — she’s facing impeachment, and running the risk that her entire presidency could be dismantled by allegations that are against her. Not only that, but she has to figure out a way to also withstand another national security crisis at the same time. The other parts of her Presidency don’t stop just because of hearings and things that are going on behind the scenes.

“Carpe Diem” – Elizabeth faces a national security crisis when a military conflict in international waters spirals to the brink of nuclear confrontation. Also, with the imminent threat of impeachment looming over the McCord administration, Elizabeth and Henry make a wish-list of things to do while she’s still in office, on MADAM SECRETARY, Sunday, Dec. 1 (10:30-11:30 PM, ET/10:00-11:00 PM, PT) on the CBS Television Network.

The title here feels like a pretty-clear reference to everything that is going on with Elizabeth and Henry, who want to make sure that they can accomplish however many things that they can in a short period of time. Mind you, we still think that Elizabeth will avoid impeachment … but sometimes within this world, it can be hard to know for sure. You have to take advantage of what is a once-in-a-lifetime position for Elizabeth … it’s a role that less than 50 people have had over the course of the past 250-odd years.
