The Flash season 6 episode 7 spoilers: Midseason finale begins
Remember this entering “The Last Temptation of Barry Allen: Part 1” — the Crisis is not just Barry’s burden. It’s something that everyone on the team is going to take on together and maybe through that, they are able to make it through okay. (We’re still hoping that somehow Barry makes it — if he is away from the team, maybe his exit won’t be a permanent one.)
Below, CarterMatt has the full The Flash season 6 episode 7 synopsis with more news as to what’s coming:
PART ONE OF THE MID-SEASON FINALE – As Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) stands on the threshold of his impending death in Crisis, his convictions are tested when the monstrous Dr. Ramsey Rosso (guest star Sendhil Ramamurthy) infects The Flash with a mysterious, hallucinogenic contagion. Meanwhile, reporter Iris West-Allen (Candice Patton) uncovers a vast conspiracy. Chad Lowe directed the episode written by Jonathan Butler & Gabriel Garza (#607). Original airdate 11/26/2019.
Whatever happens in part 1 is obviously going to continue moving into part 2, where Barry is going to have to face Ramsey head-on. Meanwhile, that episode will also feature more of Bloodwork’s “Army” doing its best in order to inflict harm. Through these episodes, we’ll get a better sense as to how Barry is handling the concept of mortality. It’s difficult to know that there is a specific timeline for your life and death, but that is still something that Barry is having to take on. He has to embrace the concept of death, the very thing that Ramsey has worked so hard in order to run from.
