11/13/2019 (10:00PM – 11:00PM) (Wednesday) : After injuring herself while pursuing a suspect, Burgess receives a shocking diagnosis. A homicide case turns into a missing persons case, with a sinister twist. Voight has to decide between justice and the letter of the law. TV-14 D, L, V

We know that the prevailing theory out there is that Burgess is pregnant … but is that really the case? It would certainly introduce some big changes to the story, if true…

The decision for Voight entering this episode is going to be a part of the show’s ongoing theme. We think that this character is going to be tested yet again here, and we have to wonder when we’re going to see him make a wrong decision … or at least one that is so wrong that gets him in further trouble. One of the things that we’ve seen with this show over and over again is a propensity for things to be a little bit chaotic, and for there to be all sorts of constant blurred lines for matters that are both good and evil.

Basically, if you love great police drama, you’re going to get it in spades moving into this episode. You’re also going to have a few plots that should build towards not only the midseason finale, but then also the new year where there are some more stories that could leave your jaw on the floor.
