Is All American new tonight on The CW? Details on upcoming episodes

All American season 2

Is All American new tonight over on The CW? In this article, we’re going to give you a sense of that … and then also give you a few more details on what’s to come.

Let’s go ahead now and get some of the bad news out of the way — you’re not going to be seeing anything new on the network tonight. For the first time all season, we’re left waiting for a while to see some more new episodes. It’s going to happen next week, but given where we left off, that’s a little bit tough to bear! It’s probably even more so when you consider the All American trajectory — there are some viewers of the show on The CW who are used to hiatuses, but those who came over from Netflix (where they binged all of season 1) may find this break all the more unbearable.

So while you wait, we’re going to do our best to help. Check out some more information on the upcoming episodes, per some official synopses released by the network.

Season 2 episode 5, “Bring the Pain” – “PARTY FOUL – After Spencer (Daniel Ezra) and Olivia’s (Samantha Logan) efforts to try to get help for Layla (Greta Onieogou) blow up in their faces, Layla pretends that everything is fine by throwing a birthday party for Olivia and Jordan (Michael Evans Behling). With Spencer not in a good place after the news he receives about Corey (Chad Coleman), he is forced to have dinner with the biggest football booster, and it doesn’t go well. Coop (Bre-Z) is ready to start recording the music she wants but Preach (guest star Kareem Grimes) pushes her to try something that isn’t her style. Meanwhile, Jordan finds himself in trouble and turns to his dad for help, leaving Billy (Taye Diggs) to do what’s best for his family even though Laura (Monet Mazur) doesn’t like it. David McWhirter directed the episode written by Robert D. Doty (#205). Original airdate 11/11/2019. ”

Season 2 episode 6, “Hard Knock Life” – “ULTERIOR MOTIVE – An exhibition 7-on-7 rematch of the Beverly Eagles vs. South Crenshaw creates tension for all the players, but especially when Darnell (guest star Chad Coleman) proposes a bet that Spencer (Daniel Ezra) can’t refuse. Jordan (Michael Evans Behling) realizes that he needs help and turns to Billy (Taye Diggs) and Laura (Monet Mazur) for support. Olivia (Samantha Logan) and Asher (Cody Christiansen) are trying to figure out what the future for them means. Meanwhile, Coop (Bre-Z) turns to Layla (Greta Onieogou) for help with her song and to get in good with Layla’s dad, but Coop isn’t prepared for what she hears. Karimah Westbrook and Jalyn Hall also star. Kristin Windell directed the episode written by J. Stone Alston & Michael Bhim (#206). Original airdate 11/18/2019.”

All in all, we definitely feels like there is a lot of exciting stuff through the first part of season 2. The problem is just going to be having to wait for all of it.

Are you surprised that All American is not on the air tonight?
