Blue Bloods season 10: Where is Nicky (Sami Gayle) at family dinner?
Take, for example, the fact that Nicky is no longer in New York City. At the end of this past episode, she announced to the family that she is departing in order to take a new job in San Francisco. That is an enormous change for her! This is a chance to get her feet wet in a world that is not New York City, and separate from her formidable family. There’s some fun that should come along the line with that … provided that we do get a chance to see her again.
For the time being, know this — there is no word about Sami Gayle leaving the show for good. She hasn’t shared any discussion on the subject on social media and, at least for now, we like to think that she is going to be coming back for more at some point. Yet, we have to wonder what a return would look like. Will she realize that San Francisco is not for her and come back? Or, will she decide to just come back for a few brief visits here and there? At the moment, we don’t think that we can rule out either of these as possibilities. What matters the most is just that we get a chance to continue to explore some possibilities and wait and see if Nicky comes back.
For now, though, it’s fair to think you won’t be seeing her for at least a little while.
