Chicago Fire season 8 episode 6 spoilers: Cruz, Severide’s investigation

Want to know what’s coming up on Chicago Fire season 8 episode 5? We’re gearing up for an installment entitled “What Went Wrong” … and in a lot of ways, that speaks for itself. While the members of Firehouse 51 are not a part of Intelligence by any means, they are capable of still getting out there and getting to the bottom of problems aplenty. It’s a part of what they fundamentally do best!

Here, it will be Cruz and Severide who are the intrepid investigators as they try to figure out what caused a fire to go in a rather horrifying direction. That’s the foundation for this episode … but there will still be some fun stuff elsewhere. This is a show, after all, where comedy makes up a part of every given episode.

10/30/2019 (09:00PM – 10:00PM) (Wednesday) : Cruz and Severide suspect foul play when a fire started by an elderly woman turns deadly. Kidd, Foster and Brett create a women’s-only lounge. Firehouse 51 celebrates some good news. TV-14 L

The women’s-only lounge probably sounds like a good idea, given that the women are probably tired of obnoxious behavior and the men are probably tired of the women “cramping their style.” Yet, at the same time we imagine that both the men and the women recognizing that they miss each other the moment that they start to spend a little bit of time apart. It’s one of those sort of situations where a little bit of conflict can be a good thing — it’s a broadening of horizons!

Also, we have a feeling that if there are two separate lounges, won’t they be a little lonely here and there? Someone could be out on a call or off work for the day … and then you’re left sitting around in a lounge by yourself. Hardly an ideal situation, right?

As for what the good news could be for Firehouse 51 … let’s just say that there isn’t a lot of information out there at the moment. With that, this celebration could be right about everything.
