NCIS: Los Angeles season 11 episode 2 video: Kensi, Lance team up
For Kensi Blye, she is going to spend some time preparing for a new operation, and with a different sort of scene partner than who she’s used to. She’s not out in the field this time around with Deeks; instead, she’s working with Lance Hamilton (Bill Goldberg) to track down a man named Rick Takada. Based on the footage that Nell is looking at in the video below, it looks as though Takada has taken off into his room with a lot of guns at his disposal … which, of course, leads to us asking many different questions. Take, for example, this: What is he using them for? What is the potential endgame for all of this?

We know that this case gets thrown for a loop when Kensi and Lance discover Takada … and it’s not in the position that they expected to find him. That may be a jumping-off point for everything else they take on, and they may need some help from Deeks and everyone else over at NCIS to get their desired results. In general, the team will be a little bit hard-up on resources at the moment. Just look at things this way — Sam and Callen are going to be overseas in Tel Aviv, where they are working a new case at Hetty’s request. It’s one that may very well be off-books, at least judging from the way that she talked about it at the end of this past new episode.
Meanwhile, Eric Beale looks to be off doing his own separate operation. Barrett Foa won’t likely be seen that much in the first handful of episodes this season — we certainly don’t see him here.
