What do we know about Lance? Think in terms of a few different things — he is highly skilled operative, he’s used to operating by himself, and he also tried to recruit Sam Hanna to take on a similar cause last year. That doesn’t seem to be happening (at least for now), so this time around, he’s teaming up with Kensi Blye to take on a different sort of case. This is going to be an interesting episode in that a number of characters are scattered all across the map, so there may not be that much time they all spend collectively. Also, this episode will not feature Barrett Foa as Eric Beale, as the actor is currently spending some time on the stage. He will return in due time to the series, but tonight’s premiere is the only time we’ll see him for a little while.
Below, CarterMatt has the full NCIS: Los Angeles season 11 episode 2 synopsis with some more news
“Decoy” – Faced with multiple cases worldwide, the NCIS team splits up, with Callen and Sam working with Mossad Agent Eliana Sapir (Natassia Halabi) in Tel Aviv, and Kensi partnering with DOJ Agent Lance Hamilton (Bill Goldberg) in Los Angeles, on NCIS: LOS ANGELES, Sunday, Oct. 6 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
Will there be some sort of long-term storyline within this episode? If there is, we have no clear indication that it’s coming based on what we’re seeing here. NCIS: LA doesn’t always give you recurring storylines week to week, so we wouldn’t have any expectations in advance.
