NCIS: Los Angeles season 11: Catherine Bell on possibility of more Mac
Speaking in a new interview with Entertainment Tonight, it feels fairly clear that Bell won’t be back in the super-immediate future, but the door is still open for her to come back once her current project starts to wrap up:
I know! It’s crazy, right? It became a full-circle moment. It seems to be something that people are really into, with all these shows that are coming back in different versions. We’d be the original cast; I mean, I think that’d be great. I’m in Canada right now doing Good Witch, but that’s done soon and for sure I’d be open to that. I think there were some great reaction. I know my fans are freaking out on Instagram about the possibility.

As for whether or not more episodes turns more into a full-on JAG revival, that remains to be seen. It’s something that has definitely generated conversation, but we don’t get the sense that anything is imminent at the moment. There’s just an interest based on the popularity of these characters and the story possibilities that could come from getting them all into the same place again on a regular basis. Given that both Bell and David James Elliott do have other things going on professionally, the biggest thing standing in the way of a possible JAG revival could be their schedules.
For the time being, let’s just prepare to enjoy a great premiere episode in “Let Fate Decide,” which is going to be coming onto CBS in just a matter of 24+ hours from the time of this writing. There could be at least some closure for most Mac/Harm fans, or at least those who want to see Bell and Elliott film in the same place again.
