Grey’s Anatomy season 16 trailer: Is Jackson in grave danger?

ABC has unveiled the latest Grey’s Anatomy season 16 trailer now, and through this one, you get a sense of grave danger for Jackson. Should this be a surprise to anyone? Not so much. Just think about how the fifteenth season of the show ended, with Jesse Williams’ character seemingly struggle to survive as something terrible happened in the fog.

The very end of the trailer, it does appear as though the character is in a certain degree of danger … though this could be a fine example of the Grey’s Anatomy producers doing everything that they can in order to make you believe that something is going down when it’s not.

As for what else is going on in the trailer, you do get a good sense of Meredith’s arc! We know that she was ready to take responsibility for the insurance-fraud story last year, and that in turn may mean that she is going to be doing whatever she can in order to pick up some trash. Yet, it may not be so easy for her to just focus on some trash. Remember that she is a doctor! That skill set isn’t just going to go away overnight; it’s still something that rests within her had and it’s something that we imagine will be important to her no matter if she’s working at the hospital or not.

Meanwhile, the trailer does also give you a tease or two about what is happening romantically for some characters. Take, for example, some of what’s going down with Teddy — she’s still struggling with some important decisions, even thought it feels more like she is trying to move forward with Owen. (Meanwhile, Tom Koracick, who was dating Teddy for most of the end of last season, is also going to be taking on a new position at the hospital.)

As for Amelia and Link, let’s just say that she has some interesting ideas as to where to take this relationship from here.
