Is MasterChef renewed for season 11, canceled at Fox? The present state

Is MasterChef renewed for a season 11 at Fox, or should we expect the series to be canceled? Within this article, we come bearing some discussion on that subject, including of course what we think that the network should do.

At the moment, we feel fairly optimistic when it comes to the future of the Fox cooking competition. While it has not been officially given a green light for more in the way of a press release, casting for the next season is already underway. Anytime that you have that, it’s always a welcome sign that the folks in production are thinking that there is going to be a little bit more of the series.

So when you think about that, we imagine that the timetable for this new season is going to be the same as it has always been, and that a potential season 11 will air at some point in the summer. There isn’t all that much of a reason to be skeptical over the future; the ratings may be down over 20% in the live 18-49 demographic, but at the same time we’re still talking about an enormously popular series with a devoted following and name recognition all over the world. It also films a good bit of its season in a single location, so that has to help to some degree from a cost point of view. It’s perfect summer TV programming for Fox in that it can exist without a whole lot of promotion, and that there are going to be countless people out there who continue to idolize Gordon Ramsay no matter what. He’s a staple of this network and we don’t see him or the show going anywhere in the near future.

If we had to predict, we would say that a MasterChef season 11 renewal will come over the next few months — it may be quietly announced as opposed to a big press release, but we don’t quite think that there is all that much to be concerned over for the time being.
