As we prepare for Fear the Walking Dead season 5 episode 15, it feels clear that we’re gearing up for an emotional end to the season. Sure, there is going to be some action over the course of these episodes, but you’re also going to see decisions that are a little bit more personal. Take, for example, Morgan coming to terms with the idea that he couldn’t live with the past. Instead, he needs to look more towards the future, and that could include a future with Grace.

When Virginia makes a statement, Al responds in kind; facing dire circumstances, June leads the search for a new place to call home; with Grace’s condition worsening, Morgan makes a tough call.

Virginia is clearly at the moment being set up as the Big Bad through the remainder of the season, and we can’t say that we’re altogether shocked by this. Just think about where we are at the moment and also where we are going — Ginny’s a dangerous person, someone very interested in building up her own crew and making sure that she does and gets whatever she wants. She views this world through the lens of who is essential and then who is not. That’s always going to be a sticking point for the group on this show, given that they would much prefer to just view on the basis of potential.

As for the story of Morgan, he’s going to need to figure out if he is willing to let go of the past and move forward or not. After all, there are some ways in which we could see this taking a turn for the worse rather quickly.
