Succession season 2 episode 6 preview: Beating a report to the punch

As we gear up for Succession season 2 episode 6 on HBO next week, what are you going to see coming up for Logan? Think along the lines of a story that could put his entire business future at risk. In other words, the same sort of stuff that we see with this show time and time again.

Sometimes, the business world is about timing. It’s about making a move before someone can anticipate your move … and also making sure that nobody can run in and block it. For the sake of this article, it may involving getting ahead of a report that is out there that could end up causing you some problems. Within this episode, you’re going to have a chance to see Logan try to scramble to get some things done before some damaging information ends up arriving — something that could cause Logan to lose a big chunk of power.

Here’s a part of the problem — Logan and his family may not know how much time that they have. That may cause all of them to be very confused as to what’s happening around them at all moments. They’re going to be scrambling, confused, and wondering where things could end up going for them.

In the end, it’s Shiv that gets the warning that her father’s big business deal could be in jeopardy — we’ve long suspected that she could be the person more qualified to eventually take over the company than anyone. Is that the case? This is something that we’re going to have a chance to see a little bit more of in due time. We’re at least going to see her be pushed to a limit — but we wouldn’t quite say that she is being pushed to the limit just yet.

Succession is a show that, knowing it, is only going to get more and more intense between now and the end of the season. Go ahead and get prepared, since we foresee a rise in intensity from here on out.
