Fear the Walking Dead season 5 episode 11 video: Wes, Alicia, & Strand
If you recall, Logan and his group want to use Wes in order to be bait for him and the rest of his people to get what they want: A little dose of revenge on Morgan, Alicia, and the rest of the group. While we didn’t see it on the show, it’s clear now that they beat Logan to some of the oil reserves and he is non too pleased about it. With that, he’s going to do whatever he can in order to make some of them pay … in just about every possible way that he can.

The sneak peek below doesn’t actually feature Logan, but instead, Alicia and Strand as they continue to work out in the field. Alicia is desperate to find the artist behind the tree paintings (nicknamed “Picasso”), but there isn’t a whole lot in the way of information out there about him. Before Alicia can really search any further, though, they get a walkie-talkie message from Wes. He remembers Alicia’s name perfectly, doesn’t remember Strand’s, and the clip ends right when he is about to explain to them some of what he “needs.” We hope that he sends them in another direction and this is not some sort of clear setup … but the reality here is that it probably is.
We know that the enthusiasm around the tree artist is so much more out there prominently as a reason to watch Fear the Walking Dead than anything that is going on at the moment in regards to Wes. That’s why it is going to be so disappointing to people if the artists isn’t Madison, which is probably a longshot in the first place. (Yet, that is the theory that is out there.)
