‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 4 spoilers: Ian Somerhalder talks shirtless Damon

We will start this latest bit of “Vampire Diaries” scoop with something that we are sure that most of you reading this article want to hear about: the fact that Damon Salvatore is taking his shirt off yet again. This is hardly the first time that we have seen this very thing happen on the show, and we have to believe that it will hardly be the last given the show’s history for utilizing the look of Ian Somerhalder to make a few fans around the globe smile.

So what is the context of the scene this time around? Typically, we at least have some sort of explanation for why there is a character showing some skin; and while we don’t know that just yet, we do have a new post from Ian Somerhalder on Twitter that gives us a pretty funny line to go along with the news:

“Damon taking his shirt off-again…I’m eating a bucket of French fries the second this scene is done!!!!!!!”

Ian also posted the video below from the show’s filming process, which is pretty funny for obvious reasons. If you want to have a quiet filming location that does not have a mob of screaming fans outside, this is probably not the way to make it happen. Then again, if you are in the need of a pick-me-up after a long day of work, there is probably no better way to make it happen other than seeing people outside who really care about you and the work that you are doing.
