NCIS: Los Angeles season 11: Goldberg wraps up filming (for now)

NCIS: Los Angeles

Over the past week, NCIS: Los Angeles season 11 has welcomed one of our favorite recent guest stars in Bill Goldberg. The appeal here is great — he’s a fantastic physical force, and he was also one of the biggest wrestlers out there when we were into WCW a long time ago.

On the show, Goldberg plays the role of Lance Hamilton, a lone wolf government operate like no other. He works alone, he travels frequently, and he’s not someone who likes to sit around and have a lot of friendly conversation. Yet, he’s a valuable asset and we’ve already seen him do what he can to invite Sam Hanna to join his ranks — if that is something that Sam ever wants to do.

We’ve reported already that Goldberg has been balancing doing this show with some of the other important gigs in his career — namely, a big WWE event this past weekend. Now, it does seem like his work for the time being seems to be done. Daniela Ruah sends him off in a lovely post on Instagram below, noting that he is every bit the legend that she hoped that he would be. We know he brings with him a lot of enthusiasm … and he was also game to take this picture.

The good thing about Goldberg’s character is that there’s always a chance that he could come back as well. Remember this — NCIS: Los Angeles does as good of a job as any show out there at bringing in and out a rotating panel of guest stars. They have a roster of people who can pop in here and there, depending of course on what works for the story of a given hour.
