‘Dexter’ season 7 spoilers: The return of Yvonne Strahovski’s Hannah (video)

In following up the other two sneak peeks that we have shared already for Sunday night’s new episode of “Dexter,” we now have one that may be the most interesting one at all. Why? Let’s just say that it marks the latest conversation between one Hannah McKay (Yvonne Strahovski) and our resident serial killer Dexter Morgan.

It’s not entirely clear what Yvonne is doing at Miami Metro in the clip, but she does suddenly have a new curiosity in Dexter after she learns that he is the last person who actually talked to Wayne Randall, who she previously rode on a killing spree with over a decade beforehand, prior to his sudden death caused by him jumping into the street. We’re not privy to what Hannah really wants from Dexter when it comes to information about what happened with Wayne, but it feels almost as though she is fishing for whatever sort of information she can pry out of him.

Do we have any real reason to be suspicious of Hannah at the moment? The answer here really is both yes and no. She hasn’t shown any sort of violent tendencies, but her lines to Dexter feel almost too orchestrated, like she is trying to hide having a bigger part in Wayne’s dark past than the police were originally aware of. But is she hiding something out of shame, or because she is still a killer? That is something that, if we are right, should make for a pretty incredible second half to this season.
