Suits season 9 finale (the series finale) table read takes place
In a new post on Instagram, series regular Amanda Schull (Katrina Bennett) confirmed that today is the table read for the final episode of the show. This is where the emotional cup will probably runneth over as a number of people do their best to digest what is going to be the end of the road. Understandably, the writers for Suits are doing everything within their power to keep information on the final episode a secret, but if we had to guess, we could see the return of at least one or two prominent characters from the past. A Patrick J. Adams cameo feels likely; we’re not so confident (at all) about Meghan Markle.

As for what the story of the Suits series finale could be, the one thing that we’re hoping for above all else is just a chance to see the firm’s legacy cemented in some way. We’re sure that it’s always going to have some drama all around it, but at the same time, it’s be nice to see them find some temporary happiness … or at least no concern that they are going to be shutting down at just about every turn. It feels like there’s been so much of this already and there is no real need to continue sending us down that road.
The Suits series finale is going to air on USA a little bit later this summer, but have no fear — we’re going to continue to give you as many updates as we possibly can every single step of the way.
