NCIS season 17: The latest Ziva behind-the-scenes tease
In a new post on Instagram via Diona Reasonover, the actress behind Kasie Hines makes a pretty strong case that Cote is now back on set and bringing a little Ziva magic back to the screen. While you don’t get to see Ziva in the flesh in Diona’s video, you do get to see what looks to be a laminated card with Ziva’s name written on it. It’s possible that this is for a table read, for cast costumes, or something else related to organization behind the scenes.
Regardless, it’s a reminder that there is some Ziva-related stuff going on around the NCIS set as we speak.

NCIS started filming the new season a little over a week ago and, for now, we know that Cote is going to be a part of the first episode. We’d love to see her around for longer than that, but we don’t want to create any sort of false hope.
For those who want a quick refresher, Ziva is coming back to the series in order to warn Gibbs about a threat that could cost him his life. As for who/what this threat is, and where Ziva has been for all of this time, let’s hope that the premiere gives us a chance to learn a little more on all of that and then some. Also, we’d be thrilled if this leaves the door open for future appearances, even if they’re not immediate ones.
The NCIS season 17 premiere will air on CBS in late September. Let’s hope that there are some more behind-the-scenes teases to share along the way.
