The InBetween episode 8 preview: Cassie ‘meets’ an idol
For Cassie, she’s long had the challenge of trying to live a normal life while dealing with her supernatural gift — seeing people from the other wise. This is not an easy thing for her to handle, and it wouldn’t be an easy thing for anyone to handle! The only thing that she can hope for is that she’s going to continually balance it out.
Where things get a little strange for her within this episode is when something that is very innocent and separate from the InBetween ends up becoming a major part of her supernatural world. It’s going to be a weird thing for her to deal with, and it’s also going to be a chance for her to understand that sometimes, meeting your heroes can lead to some surprising results.
So where is the story on the show going to go from here? Below, CarterMatt has the official The InBetween episode 8 synopsis with some more information all about what’s coming:
07/31/2019 (10:00PM – 11:00PM) (Wednesday) : Tom (Paul Blackthorne) and Damian (Justin Cornwell) investigate the mysterious death of a vibrant young woman while Cassie’s (Harriet Dyer) visions reveal a complicated family story. Cassie also encounters an idol from her childhood in the InBetween and helps him right some past wrongs. TV-14 V
So what we’re hoping to see moving forward now are some big surprises with Cassie’s story and, insofar as the main case, we imagine that we’ll see Damian and Tom wrestling with one key question: Why in the world would someone kill a “vibrant young woman” who has so much of her life to give? There are some buried secrets in here and this episode could contain another surprise reveal as a result.
Unfortunately, the show’s ratings are in a place where it is not likely to be coming back for another season. We’re not hopeful for the future, so because of that, we just have to enjoy the story that is happening in the present.
