Fuller House season 5: Candace Cameron Bure directs, filming scoop!
In a post on Twitter last week, Candace Cameron Bure confirmed that last week’s episode was her turn to step in the director’s chair. This episode filmed on Friday, as evidenced by a new post shared by Andrea Barber which CarterMatt has for you to check out below. The filming schedule for sitcoms is a little different than some other shows out there since they film in front of a live studio audience.
New episodes of Fuller House will premiere on Netflix later this year and for Candace’s character of DJ Tanner-Fuller, this is going to be a heck of a journey for her. She and Steve are entering the season together as a couple and while we’re hopeful they’ll end that way, be prepared for many speed bumps. Some of them may be personal, while others could prove to be professional. She also has three boys to raise and she also wants to be there for Stephanie who is going through a number of big changes in her own life. In terms of what we know is going on with Stephanie and Jimmy, there’s a chance at a wedding in the series finale! We’re going to continue to put out into the universe that the series finale could end with a double wedding and we’d be a very happy camper.
We expect that filming for Fuller House season 5 will wrap in late summer/early fall. That will be an emotional occasion for the cast, but also viewers who remember the early days of Full House so many years prior.
