Elementary season 7 episode 8 video: Another look at ‘Miss Understood’
In the promo below, you can see a reasonable sense of some of what is coming up. Most notably, the return of Cassie from many seasons ago. We’ve already told you that she is going to be approaching Sherlock and Joan in hopes of getting their help with a case. Yet, you have to think that she may be doing it with slightly nefarious reasons in mind. She’s a very smart, young criminal, and she seems more than capable of solving a lot of things on her own. Why bring on two people who you have an adversarial relationship with already? The ulterior motives smell here is strong, but whether or not Sherlock and Joan are going to sniff it out remains very much to be seen.
There’s another interesting way to look at this as well. Is it possible that Cassie somehow is working alongside Odin and this is yet another trap? We’re not saying that he is necessarily above finding new recruits anywhere and everywhere that he possibly can. He would probably study up on some of Sherlock and Watson past cases in order to better understand who they are and get a leg up on them at any possible time. Roping in someone like Cassie would be him dipping pretty far back into the well, but that would make him all the more impressive of a villain in the end.

Because this upcoming episode is season 7 episode 8 and we only have a 13-episode final season, timing may be the best case for Odin being involved. We don’t have that much further to go until this series is officially wrapped up, so we have a feeling that Elementary is going to need to move pretty quickly in order for us to have answers.
