Big Brother 21 live feed spoilers: The current eviction odds (day 14)

Ovi Kabir

We’re less than 24 hours away from the first normal Big Brother 21 eviction of the season and there is still campaigning going on — or, one person is campaigning anyway. Ovi is doing everything that he can to stay alive. Kathryn’s been paranoid, but that’s mostly been the extent of it.

Within this piece, let’s hand down the current eviction odds … and also if there’s any way that they could change.

There’s probably a 99% chance that Ovi ends up being evicted at this point. There’s just not enough momentum in the game to keep him around. It’s a shame because he feels like such a nice guy who loves this game and wants to play it, and he’s also fought so hard. A part of his problem is that he’s just not altogether great at it. He’s promised so many people similar things that he really doesn’t have any leverage when people compare stories. We think that the analogy used tonight was perfect — he’s working with both everyone and no one.

The sad thing is that nobody is telling Ovi for sure that he is gone — Cliff tried to hint at it tonight because he feels bad about the situation, but we’re not sure that Ovi got it. That’s the hard thing about Ovi — he doesn’t read context clues very well. That’s why he is in this position. The weirdest thing is all the people in the house who want Ovi to stop — why would he? This is what we want in a Big Brother player in terms of determination. The problem is just that he’s just not gaining any ground.

What’s also frustrating is that if Kathryn was evicted, she’d probably be upset for a short period of time and move on with her life. She’ll be more annoyed, we imagine, with being in sequester (for whatever the twist is) than her eviction on the other side. She just isn’t a threat and she has allies who may want to work with her. Kat could very well be in the house almost all season because nobody’s going to view her as a threat — though we kinda hope that DR Kat ends up showing up in the game. DR Kat is great and aggressive and interesting.

Could anything change?

It’s hard to imagine. It may take a hail mary, like Ovi deciding to open up about his power in hopes of it being a way to help people. Ovi should just read between the lines at this point, realize he’s toast, and then go for it.
