Big Brother 21 live feed spoilers: Is an alliance crumbling? (day 11, morning)

Even though the players of Big Brother 21 have only been in the house together for a week and a half, they’re starting to get a sense of the full scope of the game. That includes the idea that alliances don’t always stick together.

For pretty much all of the live feeds so far, there’s been an alliance of eight running things — Christie (Head of Household), Jackson, Jack, Holly, Analyse, Tommy, Isabella, and Nick. Tommy and Analyse were added in after episode 2 of the show aired, but they’re now a part of it. There have been little divisions in the group, but that’s it. Given that there are 12 people voting on the next eviction show and Christie’s the tiebreaker, it would take seven votes to execute a move against her wishes. Consider that.

If the seven members of the eight-person alliance eligible to vote all do so together, they control the week. That’s the end of the discussion … or is it? Well, the thing is that Bella has a relationship with Kemi and it benefits her more to want to have her in the game. Hence, discussions on that subject. She’s spoken to Jessica about the idea, but Jessica went and spilled the beans on the subject to Kat for some reason. That information made its way back to the dominant alliance, which led to conversations about kicking out Nick and Bella down the road — Jackson wants to replace them with Cliff and Kat, which of course he does because they’re a perfect side alliance for him.

If Nick and Bella were to vote to evict Kat, and they could get Cliff, Ovi, Jessica, Nicole, and Sam to all do the same, that would be enough for Kemi to stay in the game. It’s just a big risk for these players to take this early in the game and it’s something that may not happen.

Still, consider this some food for thought as we near the Veto Ceremony. Sam will (most likely) use it on Cliff and Christie will put up Kemi, who is starting to be concerned over her future. Christie’s being distant with her and that is a sign. We’ll see if the Ceremony happens later today and come back with some other updates. You can find some of the latest now over at the link here.
