‘American Idol’ notes: Colton Dixon, Nick Jonas, Adam Lambert

Ready to start off the week with some “American Idol” notes? If you want a chance to dance around wherever your home or office, just listen to the video at the bottom of this article. Before we get to that, though, we have some more news to share pertaining to one Colton Dixon.

The season 11 star recently spoke in a new interview with “Access Hollywood,” and he had quite a bit to share. When it came to his upcoming album due out next year, he said that he has over forty songs already out there that he is thinking about, but the list is starting to narrow down that includes some of his more-popular songs “Never Gone” and You Are.” The interview also features Colton talking about the feud between Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj, and there is a major part of us that seriously loves the fact that he is questioning just how much of it was actually real, and how much was probably just staged to create more TV drama.

The Jonas Brothers speak – In speaking about Nicki and Mariah, it appears that some of Nick Jonas’ brothers think that he dodged a serious bullet in not being on the judging panel this year despite some of the rumors that he was in contention.

As a part of a new interview with MTV News, Joe Jonas (who was a part of “The Next” on The CW over the summer) chose to even take advantage of an opportunity to joke about the judging situation:

“It seems they all hate each other already, so it’s perfect.”

An Adam Lambert mashup – Finally, we’ll close things off with the greatest thing we have heard all day: a mash-up of Adam Lambert’s “Trespassing” to the Queen hit “Another One Bites the Dust.” This was awesome enough for Adam to tweet about, and it’s certainly awesome enough for us to listen to.
