Chicago PD season 6 episode 21 spoilers: Voight takes on Kelton

Chicago PD season 6

We’re getting a reasonable sense of how Chicago PD season 6 could end based on some details that are floating around out there, and it feels like two things we are circling. First, there is the election for Mayor and whether or not Kelton could actually win it. Then, there’s also how we are going to see Antonio Dawson written out of the series. Signs already are indicating that this is something that will happen within the finale, but it’s probably not going to come about immediately. There should be clues leading up to this moment, and some of them could come on the upcoming 21st episode of the season entitled “Confession.” This is airing on May 15 and through this, you’ll see him wrestle a little bit with both his past and present as he tries to take on a drug kingpin.

At this point, we don’t think it’s lost on anyone that Antonio has some demons that he battles after he suffered from an opioid addiction at the midway point of this season. He’s worked to get better, but could some of the people he’s facing within this showdown be people he’s got some familiarity with already? That’s certainly possible.

For more news on what’s ahead, be sure to check out the official Chicago PD season 6 episode 21 synopsis below:

05/15/2019 (10:00PM – 11:00PM) (Wednesday) : Antonio (Jon Seda) struggles with his guilty conscience as he tries to take down a major drug dealer. In order to protect his team, Voight (Jason Beghe) takes a big shot at Kelton (guest star John C. McGinley). TV-14 LV

Where things start to become a little bit more curious for us entering this episode is when you survey the field and wonder simply this: If Kelton isn’t going to be the Mayor, who is? Are there really any candidates even left? Is the field just maxed out? We already know that Ray Price is behind bars, so the remaining three episodes this season are going to have to fill in some of the cracks here in order for us to get a compelling story that ultimately works out.

As for Antonio, the only thing that we really want for him when the dust settles is peace. We want him to have an opportunity to be able to realize his strength, and be able to take on whatever lies ahead in his life.
