If you read all of the reports and scour the internet, all signs point towards “Hannah Beast” getting the gig. She’s got a great sense of humor, she’s got a big personality, and she proved from her final appearances on this season that she does want love and doesn’t seem to be cynical in the slightest about it. There is a genuine sort of sweetness to her, even if she is a little bit out there and we’re not sure that she can get through a speech without shouting “roll tide!” at some point during it.
So why are producers likely interested in her? It probably starts with her being so different from anyone else in recent years. Andi Dorfman and Emily Maynard were the last two Bachelorettes who really have that sort of Southern vibe to them, with Emily more so than Andi just in terms of the way her season was promoted. We imagine that production’s totally going to find some Alabama athletes to appear on the season, plus a few surprise choices and people Hannah wouldn’t typically date.
Following the Bachelorette reveal tonight, you’re going to see Hannah/someone else(if someone is does end up becoming the lead) start filming the show shortly. While it may seem rather rushed, remember that Colton’s season wrapped filming this past fall. They’ve actually had a good period of time to get prepared for this, including trying to wrap up all of the different loose ends in their life and making sure they’re totally ready for this.
If it’s not Hannah…
Well, it could be another Hannah, given that Hannah G. seems to be the next-likely candidate to end up getting this gig. She’s someone who has a story after being heartbroken at the end of this season, though we really don’t know a lot else about her other than that she’s an influencer. (More than likely, Hannah G. will be a part of Bachelor in Paradise when it comes on the air a little bit later this summer.)
Other than Hannah, we’re not really sure that there is another obvious candidate to be the lead for this season. Remember that Caelynn Miller-Keyes ended up being surprisingly controversial and we certainly don’t see Cassie Randolph with the gig — especially after making it clear she wasn’t ready tonight.
