NCIS: Los Angeles season 10: Is the Densi wedding date revealed?

Densi wedding

Mrs. Carter: Do you need to wait any longer for the Densi wedding date on NCIS: Los Angeles? Based on some new information online, you can probably put an RSVP into your schedule.

Check out an NCIS: Los Angeles video! – If you want to be updated on where things are right now in the story, you can see that below! If you like this, subscribe to CarterMatt on YouTube and check out the full playlist.

The source for today’s update is the official CBS schedule, which lists the episode entitled “‘Til Death Do Us Part” as airing on Sunday, March 17 in the series’ standard 9:00 p.m. timeslot. While it is not officially confirmed as of yet that this is the episode in which Deeks and Kensi will tie the knot, all signs are pointing in this direction! For starters, the title — how is that about anything other than a wedding? Can you imagine the reaction to fans in the event they didn’t have a ceremony somewhere in there?

This date also does fit into the present-day timing of the story on NCIS: Los Angeles. Think through this particular lens — the upcoming episodes (read more about them here) are going to feature Eric Christian Olsen and Daniela Ruah’s characters readying for the big date. It wouldn’t sensible to then pump the breaks and not give us a little bit of something more … even if the stories the show delivered instead were great.

There are obvious MANY important questions to ponder about this wedding — what will it look like? Who will be attending? Will there be some sort of terrible, violent case that Densi has to take on beforehand? The latter almost feels like a given, since it’s almost a primetime staple for there to still be a case-of-the-week component even in the most romantic of episodes … and I do expect some romance! This is a relationship that has been building and simmering for several years running, and for some, the wait for the two characters to even get together in the first place was excruciating. The wedding is the payoff; it’s far from the end of the relationship (it’s, in so many ways, the beginning of a new chapter), but this is the pinnacle of every loving moment between the two characters to date. There were difficult, devastating moments — think in terms of the season 9 finale — but they made it to the other side.

If you’re a longtime Densi fan, be prepared to smile and have something to celebrate — it’s all (hopefully) going to pay off. The writers love the relationship, and Ruah and Olsen both recognize the value that it has to fans. Within the next couple of weeks, there should be a few more details that come out about the actual construction of the episode — then, there will be some time to explore next steps, given that NCIS: Los Angeles is running until May. (It is somewhat surprising that the wedding isn’t happening during one of those super-important sweeps periods, but there wasn’t a whole lot of time for NCIS: Los Angeles to do it in February.)
