Tonight, there were four people who were eligible to compete for the power: Ricky Williams, Tamar Braxton, Dina Lohan, and Kandi Burruss. Two of these people in Dina/Kandi have been pretty terrible in comps all season long. So when Ricky won, it’s fair to say that we weren’t too shocked. He now has a ticket to the final four, which means that he’s got a lot to be proud of when it comes to his game.
So what’s going to happen when it comes to nominations? For now, it seems like the plan is for Ricky to nominate Kandi and most likely Dina, and then it all really falls on Kandi to win the Veto. It’d be interesting to see what happens if Tamar won Veto in that situation, but she could just throw it so she doesn’t look like she’s betraying her friend in the house. (Remember, though, that Tamar hasn’t always said super-great things about Kandi behind her back on the show this season.)
What we’re really curious about at this point more than anything are some endgame scenarios. Would Lolo Jones beat either Tamar or Ricky at this point? We do wonder that, since she was apparently the most-appealing option for Tom upon his exit. We think that Kandi beats anyone, but it’s hard to really imagine her getting that far unless she wins Veto.
Here’s the cruelest irony of all for Kandi: She worked so hard to save Ricky from the block, only for Ricky to openly target her this week. Maybe she would’ve wanted Ricky to go home instead in retrospect, but we don’t think it would really matter. We’re just at that point in the numbers.
