So what is coming up on this episode, entitled “X”? Let’s just say that it revolves in part a dangerous substance, chemistry, and a missing Navy entomologist. What’s going to be especially exciting about this episode is getting a chance to see an appearance in here from none other than LeVar Burton. The former Star Trek: The Next Generation star is making his first appearance on the series after spending a good bit of time as a guest star within this world, and we know that he’s going to bring a lot of entertainment to the table. He’s certainly capable of being a part of funny moments, but he also has that ability to keep deep and dramatic at just about every turn. It’s that unpredictability that makes him inherently so interesting, and it’s a big part of what makes this episode worthwhile … along with, of course, the fact that it is featuring another great mystery at its core.
So will there be some more personal stories in this episode, as well? We’re hoping so, mostly due to the fact that this show is so much stronger when it can combine the two elements. We suppose that, more so than anything else, we’re just glad that we’re going to have a chance to see the show back after a long hiatus. We know that there’s some great stuff that is coming for Hannah in the weeks to come, but we’d like to also see some other great roles for a few other people, as well. Take, for example, Lasalle — after all, it’s been a really long time since we’ve been able to see him front and center on the show. (It feels like the last major time is earlier this season.)
