It’s true NBC fashion to not share too many details about some of what’s coming, largely because they keep their cards close to the vest more often than not. They want to keep some big-time secrets entering this episode and that’s well and good. Yet, we do still wonder how we are going to see things unfold here. Is it possible that Madeline could end up claiming a life of an important character? With a show like this, you should always be worried, really regardless of whatever specific scheme that you’re seeing within a given episode.

If you do love Blindspot, the concern entering next week’s episode should be about more so than just the characters; it should also be on the series itself. We’re nearing the point in the season where the long-term future does need to be honed in on in a significant way, especially with ratings declines and with there being no guarantee that there is going to be something more coming up a little bit down the line. If you love the show, watch the show. Promote the show. Help out! It’s really that simple and there is still plenty of time to build some buzz around it. With next week being episode #13, that’s typically a great time for a series to deliver some big surprises before settling in and delivering a different arc in the back nine. It may be connected, but given that there’s a small hiatus after next week, we wouldn’t be shocked if there is a small reset-of-sorts.
