‘Once Upon a Time’ season 2 spoilers: Synopsis for Captain Hook episode

As you have probably ready by now courtesy of some of our other “Once Upon a Time” articles, the fourth episode of this new season is going to be introducing a character (in Captain Hook) that just about everyone is more than a little bit excited to see.

So what can we fully expect from the villain’s arrival? For the time being, the official episode description (via SpoilerTV) certainly does not really suggest much; however, what we do know for sure is going to be happening is more drama coming to us via Belle and Rumpelstiltskin:

“Belle threatens to leave Mr. Gold if he doesn’t change his ways; the dwarves try to find fairy dust in the Storybrooke mine; Rumplestiltskin tries to save his wife from a band of pirates.”

No, don’t start wondering whether or not Rumple and Belle have tied the know; what we are really looking at here instead is a story back in time in the fairy tale world. The introduction of the new corner of the world does create some rather interesting questions when it comes to how we speculate about this show: we have three separate universes in many ways running across different times periods, and it’s almost like we are watching a season of “Fringe” except with magic rather than Observers and Joshua Jackson running around.

For our sake, let’s just hope that they find something more for Belle to do this season beyond just fighting with her other half over whether or not he is acting too beastly, mostly because the fact that we are seeing it in at least two out of the first four episodes of the season worries us.
