MacGyver season 3 episode 15 return date: The first without George Eads

We say that knowing full well that the upcoming episode is going to be the first minus George Eads, who is departing the series presumably tonight.

Interestingly, there will be no new episode of the series next week, but there is a fairly simple reason for it: A special two-hour episode of Celebrity Big Brother airing in its place. Next week is the last time the reality show will be on Friday this season, so in the event you’re worried about more hiatuses because of this, don’t be.

So in case you’re wondering what is specifically coming up next for MacGyver, the show is actually keeping its cards close to the vest. They didn’t release a synopsis for the show’s official February 15 return as of 1:30 p.m. Pacific on Friday and we assume that Eads’ exit is the biggest reason for that. Everything is in some ways a matter of perspective. We know that there are tons of viewers online who are already more than familiar with the fact that Eads is departing the series; however, the majority of viewers for the show out there likely have no idea of any of this. With that in mind, we think that this mostly represents MacGyver and the show’s producers trying to keep things a secret as long as they can — it’ll look strange to put out details for upcoming episodes in advance where George is not a part of them.

Stay tuned, as we will have more on the series’ future as soon as it is available. For now, though, just assume that there’s going to be some more good stuff featuring many of your other favorite characters. Nobody else seems to be going anywhere, which is a good thing since we strongly considered the Phoenix Foundation to be a family. We want to see them together as long as possible.
