Lindsay Lohan goes after ‘Dr. Phil’ over Dina interview

The Lohan family is not done going after Dr. Phil McGraw just yet.

In case you have not heard some of the headlines from earlier this month, they basically go like this: Dina Lohan made an appearance on “Dr. Phil” earlier this month, and made headlines for all of the wrong reasons. Why? During the interview she came across as loopy and incoherent, which in part led to some allegations that she may have been drunk at the time that the chat was taped. The media had a field day with it, and Dina had to go out publicly and issue a lengthy stream of denials that she had went into the chat inebriated.

Even though this scandal was more than a week old, Dina’s famous daughter Lindsay Lohan decided to enter the fray this weekend, posting this rather blunt message on her Twitter account:

“@DrPhil You should be ashamed of yourself. [Why] kind of man takes advantage of a woman @her most vulnerable state? YOU are the fraud.”

Dr. Phil has yet to respond to the comments, and he may not considering that Lindsay has since removed the message. However, the sentiment here still remains, and she is far from the first person to go after McGraw over the way in which he handled a guest on his show. Then again, you could also argue that McGraw treats many guests in such a way in order to provide a much-needed wake-up call so that they avoid many of the pitfalls that other people have struggled with over the years. Regardless of what he says, we have a feeling that the Lohan family is probably not going to be stopping by his show again anytime soon.
