NCIS: New Orleans season 5 episode 13 return date: The story of ‘X’

Let’s of course start with the return date for the series: Tuesday, February 5 at 10:00 p.m. Eastern time. There is no episode next week (due to the State of the Union Address — at least for now), but CBS is going to be stocking up in order to deliver a number of big stories throughout the month of February. After all, this is sweeps, and this is the one time of the year where many networks like to deliver some of the biggest stories that they have. We know that there’s certainly potential for a lot of great ones coming up, and that includes the next new episode “X.” LeVar Burton, who has previously directed the show in the past, is going to be guest-starring here in an important role. Hopefully, we’ll see some great scenes featuring him and Scott Bakula — think of this as two different Star Trek worlds joining forces!

“X” – NCIS investigates the disappearance of a Navy entomologist after a deadly shooting at a research lab. Nero (LeVar Burton), with Naval Intelligence, joins the investigation when the team discovers a rare and deadly virus was also stolen, on NCIS: NEW ORLEANS, Tuesday, Feb. 5 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
There’s absolutely a lot of exciting stuff to come in this episode, and we think that it will really just scratch the surface of some good stuff throughout the month. We don’t actually need some sort of major event episode over the course of the next few weeks, mostly because we just had that with Pride trying to piece together some of what’s been happening around him + the death of his father. We don’t think that story is over, but there may not be a hurry to revisit it. We’d suggest instead that the writers just tell some personal stories featuring the supporting cast, similar to what we’re seeing on the show tonight with Gregorio.
