Celebrity Big Brother 2 spotlight: Natalie Eva Marie’s winner odds

The entire Celebrity Big Brother 2 cast is now official, and with that we’re spending this week previewing what to expect from many of them! Consider this article series your guide to understanding what each person brings to the table and also whether or not they have a legitimate chance of winning. In this piece, we’re discussing Natalie Eva Marie, an interesting cast given that you’re probably either very familiar with her or not familiar with her at all. There’s not really any middle ground.

Claim to Fame – She’s a former WWE wrestler who has had no problem playing the role of heel. She wasn’t afraid to be booed or play whatever character she needed to. She’s also appeared on the reality show Total Divas, but officially parted ways with WWE in 2017. She’s been a little more under the radar since leaving the company, so this should be a nice reintroduction for her to the world.

Strengths – There’s no denying that Eva Marie is an exceptional athlete — you have to be to handle the rigors of pro wrestling. She’ll be a force in a lot of the challenges and odds are, she’ll have no problem playing the role of villain in the house if need be. She’s going to be competitive, and we certainly think she could be entertaining both to other people in the house as well as on the show. We’re also not sure how well-known she will be to some of the other contestants, unless they are big wrestling fans. That may help her to avoid preconceived notions.

Weaknesses – She’s going to be a big threat just because of her athletic ability, and with there being only five women to seven men on this season, that makes her even more of a threat to be targeted pretty early. With her purple hair and big personality, there’s no real way for her to fade into the background.

Outlook This Season – Natalie Eva Marie’s a fun addition to the show, mostly in that she’s the most high-profile wrestler to ever be in the Big Brother house (sorry, Austin) and we do think that she may understand parts of the competitive nature of this show better than almost anyone. We do think that she’ll be a threat, but she does have a Janelle Pierzina upside in that she could win so many competitions that it doesn’t matter all that much. We actually could see her getting pretty far just on the basis of being competitive and possibly being the underdog — something that she wasn’t always seen as during her time in professional wrestling.
