Celebrity Big Brother 2 cast reveal coming on Sunday night

In a new promo via CBS, the network confirmed that the cast for the show will be officially announced on Sunday — and we’re absolutely psyched to learn who these particular people are going to be! It feels like there have been a ton of casting rumors out there as of late when it comes to the series and we have a feeling that this is not going to stop in the 48 hours or so until the cast is announced. The picture that has been painted online is that of utter chaos, with there potentially being cast members that are being rotated in and out as negotiations come down to the wire.
What we’ve come to realize with Celebrity Big Brother, and most other celebrity reality shows, is that what matters more so than the cast is what happens when they are in the house. We’ve been super-excited about some casts before with various reality shows only for some of them to disappoint. Last season’s ended up being a little more entertaining than it appeared to be on the surface and we hope this will be the case here.
The best news, at least for us, is that the wait is almost over for the new cast to be officially revealed. The premiere of Celebrity Big Brother 2 is coming to CBS on Monday, January 21 and we are absolutely excited to discuss that all season long — whether it be with videos or with articles. We do recognize that this season is significantly shorter than the main series, but it’s still a nice little dose of Big Brother at a time of the year when there isn’t all that much of it — though there is the Canadian version for people out there who love to watch it north of the border.
