Chicago PD season 6 episode 10 spoilers: Ruzek’s mission to save Antonio

As we approach Chicago PD season 6 episode 10 — the first of the new year — on January 9, Adam Ruzek has a big decision to make. How far is he willing to go in order to help Antonio? It’s fascinating that Patrick John Flueger and Jon Seda’s characters found themselves coming to blows earlier this season; yet, now Ruzek is the one person who may be able to save Antonio’s career.

We probably not need to lay out some of the stakes again for you, but for those who missed the fall finale, here it is — Antonio is suffering as an addict and in the midst of an intense case with personal stakes, he ended up shoving the main suspect off a ledge to his death. He, Ruzek, and Voight are the only three cops aware of what happened and now, they have to scramble to figure out what to do. There’s an option where they let Antonio bury himself and his career is over; yet, there’s also an option where they actually help their friend. Ruzek may at least attempt the latter, but there is no guarantee as to his success.

01/09/2019 (10:00PM – 11:00PM) (Wednesday) : Voight and Ruzek lock horns over how to handle the aftermath of the Antonio situation. Meanwhile, a series of violent carjackings turns deadly, and Ruzek must rely on a C.I. he grew up with to help solve the case.

Basically, this episode is going to be an important, personal one for Ruzek all around, and we imagine that this isn’t going to be changing for the episodes that follow, either. Remember that he and Upton have their relationship and sooner or later, other people are going to find out about it. As it starts to become something more than what it is right now, it’s going to be harder to keep it a secret. It may also be somewhat irresponsible to do so, as well.

As intense as all of these stories are going to be, you still have to remember this — we’re not even at the halfway point in the season yet. There’s going to be so much more in the way of drama coming down the line, so be prepared for all of that and then some.
