Is NCIS: Los Angeles new tonight? What’s hopefully next

Alas, the bad news at the moment is clear: There is no installment coming up on the network tonight, with the big reason for it being mostly that CBS just wanted to give the show the week off. That’s something that happens here and there so that production can keep up with the network’s airing schedule — among of course a number of other reasons, including the fact that CBS wanted to have at least a couple more episodes airing a little bit later in the month in order to ensure that there would be some content close to the holidays. CBS does have a tendency to keep some of their shows on the air a little bit longer than a lot of the other competition that’s out there.
So what are some of the things that we’d like to see over the final couple of episodes of this season? We’ve got a few different suggestions down below…
1. Deeks – Kensi wedding talk – Even if the two of them are not married in 2019, can we at least have a situation where there is more info out there about the wedding? Is that too much to ask? We think that for many people, it would be just nice to see the story start to move a little bit forward in this direction.
2. At least one more Anna appearance – Is the character really set to spend the next several years of her life in prison? That’s what the writers are clearly trying to suggest at the moment, but we do think that there are still some reasons to doubt that and raise some questions over it. For starters, are they really going to want to cut off a major recurring character from the show for that long?
3. Hetty’s status – Linda Hunt should take however long she needs to in order to recover from her car accident this past summer. We don’t necessarily need to see her, but it would be nice to get an update as to where she is and what she’s up to — that way, it’s a little bit easier to celebrate when she does end up coming back.
