Agents of SHIELD season 6: New look at Chloe Bennet’s Quake
Meanwhile, we’ve also got now a new tease at Chloe Bennet and her character of Quake, who seems to be bringing forward a new look for the upcoming episodes! If you look on Twitter below, you can get a glimpse of Daisy Johnson a.k.a. Quake’s new look, and it’s a rather big change from past seasons! For starters, this is apparently the season of purple based on both the hair highlights and also the trim on her outfit. She’s also got longer hair, done to one side, than we’ve seen in the past.
While all of these changes are largely cosmetic and don’t really impact anything when it comes to the series itself, we do think that it is nice that there is a superhero show out there that isn’t altogether scared to show off some sort of evolution when it comes to the role. This is a series that is taking some risks and that is absolutely something that we’re celebrating. As a matter of fact, we wish that some other shows did it, as well. The majority of the time, men and women don’t keep the same hairstyle for the entirety of their lives. They find a way to change things up and with that, there’s certainly room for characters on TV to do the same exact thing.
Unfortunately, you are going to be waiting for quite a long time still in order to see Bennet in her new look on Agents of SHIELD. Regardless of production schedules and the like, the season 6 is currently not scheduled to air until the summer. That means that we’ll have to sit around and wait to see if we get some sort of additional teases on the 13-episode batch of episodes in the weeks to come. (One thing we do wonder is if the early announcement for season 7 means that they are going to try to move into production for it rather quickly — that would mean that there would be a really long break between season 7 and season 8 filming provided that a season 8 is something that even happens. Clearly, there is a lot of time that we all have to sit around and wonder on that.)
