Is The Flash season 5 episode 5 new tonight? Where the story is going next

Is The Flash new tonight on The CW? We certainly know why there is a such a demand out there for more. This is a series that has injected some new energy into itself for this season with a brilliant new villain, and it definitely feels like the potential is there for one of the best overall seasons that we’ve seen in years.

Alas, sometimes we do have to take a break from good things and that is precisely the case tonight due to the midterm elections. While technically The CW could have still aired new episodes if they really wanted to, we know that they want to encourage people to go out, vote, and have their voices heard since the younger generation are the people who can turn the tide on the future of this country.

Luckily, this particular hiatus for The Flash is not going to be an extremely-long one. There will be another new episode airing in one week’s time and that is going to give you an opportunity to really assess whatever the future for Barry, Iris, and Nora West-Allen is going to be. We know that Nora is for now infuriated with her parents over how Iris dampened her speed for many years, but we have a feeling that won’t last forever. They do certainly have much bigger fish to fry at the moment, most notably what’s going to be happening coming up in the future with Cicada. There’s something strange going on with this guy’s powers and we’re very much curious to see what’s coming up next.

Beyond just the Allen / West-Allen family, next week will also give you the continuation of the Caitlin Snow storyline, which we know is going to come to a rather-dramatic conclusion by the end of it.
