Blue Bloods season 9 episode 6 promo: Jamie is forced to be the boss
Jamie finds himself in a tough position over a decision that Eddie and her new partner Maya make while out in the field together, and with that, he has to wonder A) what the ramifications will be for his relationship and B) what the other cops will think about said decision. He has to contend with a challenging dynamic in that there will always be a perception of bias towards Eddie no matter what he does. We haven’t seen too much of it on the series now, but we certainly do think that it’s going to happen. It’s not something that most cops would think about every day, but you almost certainly have to think that they will when the chips are down and things get a little bit heated.
While you can be assured that the upcoming episode will feature big stories for some of the other characters, the majority of the promo is about Jamie / Eddie and we can’t say that we’re too surprised by that. Blue Bloods this season in particular seems to be far more aware of the popularity of the Jamko relationship than almost ever before and they want to do whatever they can to cater to that. It’s smart marketing on their side. Rest assured, though, that they’ll be spotlighting some big Danny stories soon enough.
