Blue Bloods season 9 episode 6 preview: Jamie clashes with Eddie, her new partner

Blue Bloods season 9 episode 6 carries with it the title of “Trust,” and that certainly seems appropriate. We know that Jamie, for example, trusts Eddie as his fiancée … but what about as a cop? That’s something that this episode may help to give us more insight on.

This episode isn’t the first time that there have been some concerns about this for Jamko. Just think back to “Blackout,” where at the forefront of that episode was Jamie’s concern getting in the way of an important case. Here, he’s in a different situation where Eddie’s performance out in the field puts him in a precarious position.

“Trust” – Eddie and her new partner, Maya (Yasha Thompson), clash with Jamie on the job when they fail to intervene in a public dispute at a convenience store. Also, Danny and Baez investigate the death of a college freshman at a fraternity party, and Frank battles a lawsuit when a sergeant accuses the department of reverse racism and ageism, on BLUE BLOODS, Friday, Nov. 2 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

There may be a legitimate reason why Eddie and Maya did not intervene and that has to be considered; yet, is Jamie going to be able to realize that while figuring out the right course of action? This is why having your fiancée working under you is a challenge.

We know that there are some other important stories within this episode, especially for Frank given that he’s taking on an extremely touchy issue — he’s certainly tackled these before, so fingers crossed that he is prepared for this. If it escalates, it is a headache that the department certainly does not want to be dealing with at the moment.
