MacGyver season 3 episode 5 preview: Celebrate Dia de Muertos

Want to know some of what’s coming on MacGyver season 3 episode 5? Let’s just say that there’s a holiday episode coming up. It’s just a completely different holiday than you’re used to seeing. This episode is about Dia de Muertos, though there’s also going to be a significant Halloween component to it at the same time. It’s a chance to see the Phoenix Foundation team take part in some rather surprising missions, while at the same time also spend some time surrounded in the holiday festivities.

If you do love all things MacGyver, you’ll probably enjoy the spin that the show has on some of these days. Below, we’ve got for you the MacGyver season 3 episode 5 synopsis with some additional information for what’s coming up next:

“Dia de Muertos + Sicarios + Family” – When Oversight’s attempt to capture a drug cartel’s leader goes bad, MacGyver and Jack rush to Mexico to pull their boss out while racing through the heart of the country during Dia de Muertos celebrations. Also, Bozer and Riley use Halloween as a distraction to gather intel on a man accused of treason, on MACGYVER, Friday, Oct. 26 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

We are certainly happy to get Mac and Jack back out in the field together for the bulk of an episode, though we don’t want to compare this to many of the other missions that we’ve seen over time before even seeing it. The most important thing here is that this hour hopefully delivers some great content, and gives us a chance to see something different than anything we’ve had a chance to see before.

Remember here that if you want to keep a show like MacGyver on the air, the best way to do so is to watch live and ensure that your friends and family do the same. While the series isn’t exactly in immediate danger, viewer consistency never hurts.
