The Flash season 5 episode 3 preview: Is this the death of Vibe?

There is a very-clear reason to be worried about The Flash season 5 episode 3 — after all, the title is “The Death of Vibe.” Anytime that you see this, there are almost certainly going to be questions surrounding what’s going to happen. Rest assured, we also still think that it’s hard to title an episode “The Death of Vibe” if your plan is to actually kill off the character. Doesn’t that feel a little bit too obvious? That’s what it at least feels like to us.

CICADA TARGETS A MEMBER OF TEAM FLASH – After Cicada’s (Chris Klein) attack on The Flash (Grant Gustin), the team realizes they need to think outside the box to stop this dangerous new foe. Desperate to help her parents, Nora (Jessica Parker Kennedy) comes up with a plan that ultimately puts a member of Team Flash in danger. Meanwhile, Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) delves into her past. Andi Armaganian directed the episode written by Jonathan Butler & Gabriel Garza (#503). Original airdate 10/23/2018

This episode of the series is one where there could be some really big implications for just about everything that happens, whether it be Caitlin’s potential search for her father and then also the plan to try and stop Cicada … which is going to be so much more easier said than done with this show. This is someone billed as a Big Bad and a threat that we haven’t quite seen before on this level. When you consider that, you have to assume that things are not going to be easy. He’s not the sort of adversary who is just going to disappear into the night.
