Ink Master season 11 episode 8: Angel Rose’s dilemma; Cleen’s comeback attempt
Judging from the preview itself, though, it looks as though most of the problems coming up are for Team Christian. Take, for example, Angel Rose getting a canvas that does not want a black-and-gray tattoo. Just based on the reaction that she has to him refusing, this could prove problematic for her (not that we’re that worried, given that she has been one of the stronger artists through most of the season). Meanwhile, you’ve also got Tim struggling with what seems to be a difficult canvas mixed in here, and Amanda challenging some of the members of Team Cleen on their ability to accurately do good tattoos.
Perhaps the most troubling sign of all for Team Christian, though, is there being a debate during that tattoo critique over whether or not someone has an unfinished tattoo. Given that Cleen is mixed up in all of the drama, the easy assumption to make here is that it’s someone on Christian’s team. Why bring attention to it otherwise?
As we said in the full review for tonight’s episode 7, the most exciting thing about where we are in the season now is that most of the obvious weaker links are gone and we’re left with a number of reasonably-talented artists who all bring something to the table. Because of that, we’re left in a position where almost anyone can go home at any time and there’s excitement that comes with that sort of uncertainty. It’s really what you want from a show like this.
